Commission FAQs

  • These are custom paintings, made based on your direction and specifically for your home or space! You can specify the size, colors, and subject matter of the painting. You are welcome to base this off of one of my original works (aka “make me one like “Hidden Flock” or something like that) or feel free to come up with a new idea all together!

  • The cost of made-to-order paintings includes materials, time for a 15 minute consultation about the vision for your artwork, and the time for the painting itself. Cost is highly dependent on size of the painting. Once we correspond about your desired size work, I will send over a quote for your approval.

  • Once we come to an agreement about the size and direction of your painting, 50% of the cost of the painting will be due up front, and 50% will be due at the time of delivery.

  • This is totally up to you! I love it when people essentially come to me saying “I trust you! Do whatever!” and I equally love it when people have a really specific vision for their painting. The only real details I will need are dimensions, budget, and a general color scheme that might go well with your space.

  • I do have a wheelhouse which I like to stay within for my paintings! Of course I love a little challenge, but I tend to stick to landscapes and florals. If you send me some vision, I’ll be honest about whether I’m a good fit for your commissioned dreams! If not, I’ve got lots of artists to recommend based on your style.

  • 1. Inquiry Form

    Fill out the inquiry form to me know your thoughts about a custom painting! This is noncommittal.

  • 2. Collaboration Call

    This is a 15 minute, complimentary consultation to see if we’re a good fit to work together on a custom piece! We’ll discuss dimensions, color palettes, and any hopes you have in mind.

  • 3. Quote Sent + Initial Payment

    I’ll send over a quote if you’d like to move forward, and wait for your approval. If all is good, then 50% of your payment for the commission will be due upfront.

  • 4. Delivery of your Commission!

    When I deliver your piece, the other 50% of the cost will be due. I offer complimentary delivery within the DFW metroplex! If you are outside that scope, we’ll factor that into your quote.
